Forever on DVD™ now provides slide, negative and photo scanning to DVD Video. Colour restoration, exposure correction, even tears and stains can be repaired before archiving your treasured memories.

These days many companies provide this service, and most use the same equipment and techniques. So, we have tried to make our service as transparent as possible, to provide the information in as concise a manner as we can.

Colour restoration and exposure correction is included free of charge on all scans. All material is air-cleaned to remove surface debris and dust, however it is difficult to remove all traces on older, more handled material.

$0.40 per slide, no minimum and no setup fee. The price is the same irrespective of the number of slides.

* One of the best technologies available in specialized film scanners is Digital ICE Dust and Scratch Removal. Digital ICE works by doing a scan of the film with Infra-red (IR) light. This IR scan enables the visualization of surface defects in the film, like dust, debris or scratches. Using the map of defects from the IR scan, the defective areas can be repaired. The results can be dramatic. The drawback of Digital ICE is that it takes a great deal of extra time to work it's magic. If Digital ICE is requested, an extra charge of $0.10 per scan will be added with the client's consent.
